Hi all!

Gepke in Africa first time in her life!! Well, it is poor! Wow how blessed are we if you can daily choose from a variety of foods! I am staying in a house with 12 kids who otherwise would not have been takencare of. they live now with a beautiful lady from Holland who runs the house with a comitted mostly mozambican team. Many have aids and malaria happens often. greetings for now since emailing is not as easy as it is in Holland! Prayer for protection is WELCOME!

Dear reader! How have you been? I am getting excited now, and getting ready for leaving in a week time! My name is Gepke so I have to still arrange a lot in order to be able to leave but oh well... all will be allright in the end! a man can have many plans but God directs his steps...
I have had some fun meetings where friends and family came to hear about my plans and we had a wonderful time where each of the 3 meetings I saw God working things out faithfully, He is an excellent Father! More and more I learn God is in control and I should trust and let go in stead of keeping things under my control! I did not know how to arrange things, (did not even know what to arrange exactly) but now I came into contact with people who have lots of experience with working abroad/ living by faith/ travelling in Africa.
Looks like I end up flying hauls in Mozambique between my stops in stead of travelling by bus alone. Too many people say it is not smart.... a 4 day bus trip with fixed robbing-spots.. I nearly started to get nervous, but I believe now God is providing so I can travel safe! Wow! Praise God and thanks to people who help me out! :-)
